Sadly Phuket is not blessed with the world's greatest fleet of taxi drivers. In fact many of them are complete bandits and no matter what the local authorities try to do to control their excessive charging and often belligerent manner, there is little response from them.Fortunately our location means that you don't have to rely on them too much,as we are close to everything. However when you do need a taxi please let us arrange it for you. We don't make anything out of it, but we want to minimise the risk of you having a bad experience at the hands of bad one.
Our own taxi drivers have been working exclusively for us for years they are safe, reliable and charge standard fair prices, no rip offs, no detours and they know the island very well indeed. This can;t be said for all the islands drivers who are often not from Phuket and don't know their way around and even worse don't speak English.
Trust us with this, we know what we're talking about, stick to our recommended drivers and save us all some grief.
